As a rule, we exclusively source stock from auction platforms Pickles and Manheim. Occasionally we do purchase vehicles directly from the public, however this is only in rare situations (less than 1 in 1000 vehicles.)
Our focus is firmly on supplying major mechanical, exterior and electronic parts—that are prohibitively expensive as new genuine parts from BMW.
For these parts to be high-quality, and delivered promptly without issue—they must be removed from the car and warehoused.
By prioritising warehouse space, we have a small yard—so wrecks are crushed after we salvage the major stuff. Smaller parts like bolts, clips and hoses are cheap to buy new—so it’s not economical to compete on them when factoring in the labour cost of removing & cataloging them from wrecks.
Trims and large plastic components are bulky, and not in high demand—so thus too expensive to store—so they are crushed with the car.
If you contact our team we can try to salvage something before it is crushed, but please be aware that we have a limited range.

No. Whilst our team has knowledge of common issues, generally we don’t offer diagnostic advice over the phone. We can however refer you to a BMW workshop within your local area who can diagnose your BMW’s issue for you.
No, we don’t have a sales counter. Our focus is on online sales, but pickup from our Melbourne warehouse is still available on pre-arranged orders.

We require your vehicle’s VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) to ensure we provide the exact parts you need. By decoding your VIN through our dealer-grade BMW parts catalogue, we can accurately determine the specific part numbers installed in your car. This process helps us guarantee fitment compatibility, ensuring that the parts we provide will perfectly match your vehicle’s specifications.
BMW control units have firmware versions installed on them. When you purchase a brand new unit from a BMW dealer, it will come with the latest version of firmware, making it easy to code. The difficulty with second-hand units is that they have old firmware versions installed on them, which can make them incompatible with other control units in your BMW. To ensure that a module’s firmware version is compatible with your car, it’s often necessary to match the part numbers physically on each unit.
We sometimes restrict or deny the sale of certain BMW parts due to their complex installation requirements. Particularly for certain transmissions and NBT units, the installation can be challenging as these second-hand parts are already coded to a specific VIN and require virginisation & recoding using specialised tools, which cannot be done with standard diagnostic equipment or ISTA. If we are not confident that the customer or installer possesses the necessary skills and tools to successfully complete the installation, we will deny the sale to prevent potential issues with the part. In such instances, we can often recommend an independent BMW specialist in your local area who can handle the installation and coding.
We acknowledge that some individuals have left negative reviews after being dissatisfied or offended by their experience. Our phone lines are open to the public from 12 to 5 PM, during which we prioritise servicing private customers and managing high call volumes efficiently. This approach might lead us to quickly dismiss inquiries we cannot assist with, which some may perceive as rude. We choose to man our phones with experienced staff to maintain quality service, even if it means being straightforward with callers. We do not accommodate inquiries lacking essential vehicle information or from callers on poor-quality phone lines. Yes, we ship most small and medium-sized parts internationally. However, there are restrictions on shipping large items, like engines, as they may not be financially viable to send overseas. We assess the feasibility of shipping larger parts on a case-by-case basis to ensure the best service for our customers.
