About BM Spares

BM Spares is a specialist BMW dismantler based in Dandenong, Victoria. We source low-kilometre vehicles from salvage auctions like Pickles and Manheim, dismantle them on-site, and supply genuine BMW parts to customers across Australia and overseas.

We don’t generalise. Our operation is built around one brand. We know the cars, the common issues, and what makes a reliable replacement part.

What makes us different

Most wreckers target older BMWs, typically 8 to 12 years old. These vehicles are out of warranty and starting to show signs of mechanical wear. The parts might be cheap, but they’ve seen a lot of road use.

We do the opposite. We focus on younger vehicles, generally between 1 and 7 years old. In 2025, we’re already dismantling MY24 G05 X5s. These parts are removed early, stored carefully, and kept for up to 15 years. That means when you need a part, you’re getting something that’s low kilometre, genuine and in excellent condition.

Our entire team works exclusively with BMW vehicles. We don’t touch other brands. Our staff includes qualified BMW mechanics, experienced parts interpreters and trained dismantlers.

We understand the quirks of each model. We provide technical advice, assist with installation, and can refer you to trusted technicians for coding and diagnostics.

How our process works

Every vehicle is scanned and tested for faults on arrival. We dismantle it immediately and recover 50 to 100 components. Each part is photographed individually and listed with the correct BMW part number. No stock images. No guesswork. Once listed, parts are securely stored and ready for delivery within Australia or internationally.

BM Spares started as a small yard with around 50 cars and a physical counter. Today, we run a warehouse operation with thousands of parts catalogued, stored and ready to ship.

Our mission

We exist to give BMW owners access to affordable, high-quality parts. Without that access, repairs often become unviable. A 10-year-old X5 shouldn’t be scrapped because it needs a transmission.

We also support the independent repair industry. We train mechanics, share technical insights, and advocate through the AAAA for open access to repair software and data under AASRA legislation.

What we stand for

We don’t cater to classic car collectors or budget DIY builds. We serve owners of BMWs between 7 and 15 years old who value quality and understand the benefit of a low-kilometre genuine part.
